Susanna Haas Lyons serves as Communications Manager and Program Associate at AmericaSpeaks, the national leader in large-scale citizen engagement. In this capacity, Susanna is responsible for the development and implementation of projects that bring citizens and decision makers together to create better policy. In addition, she manages AmericaSpeaks' online, marketing and communications efforts.
A practitioner and speaker on how to strengthen governance with citizen voices, Susanna came to AmericaSpeaks in 2005 after a working on a series of innovative citizen engagement projects in Canada. Former positions include Program Associate at the British Columbia Citizens Assembly on Electoral Reform and Stakeholder Engagement Consultant at Envision Sustainability Tools
